“We’ll be very sad to move, most of our neighbours have lived in the street even longer than us so we are all very close,” she said.

The property also sits on one of the first plots of land to be registered in Sydney ever. Located on Lot 8, Deposited Plan 85, the origins of the property can be traced back to the late 1800s, according to the owners.

The property has been designed with an open plan lifestyle in mind. The kitchen has stone benchtops, gas stainless steel Smeg appliances, a dishwasher and a wine fridge.

The adjoining living and dining area flows out to a stone entertaining terrace and a small, level manicured garden.

Mr Pidcock is the chief executive of retail marketing solutions provider SPOS Ltd, which helps businesses display their goods more effectively in shops. His company works with clients including Red Bull, Foxtel and Kitchen Aid.

The decision to sell follows last week’s high profile listing of former ABC chairman Justin Milne’s home in Rozelle.
