A third person has been charged in connection to the alleged murder of Queensland teenager Pheobe Bishop.

A 30-year-old man allegedly used Pheobe’s phone to interfere with the police investigation.

He was arrested about 7pm on Monday in Bundaberg West, and charged with two counts of accessory after the fact to murder.

The man will appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court today, police confirmed to this masthead.

Pheobe, 17, was last seen alive on May 15, after reportedly being driven towards Bundaberg airport.

She failed to board a connecting flight to Brisbane that day, ahead of a planned trip to Western Australia.

Her remains were discovered during a search near Good Night Scrub National Park on June 6. Police believe they had been moved multiple times.

Her housemates in the small nearby town of Gin Gin – James Wood, 34, and Tanika Bromley, 33 – have been charged with her murder.
